Bold Scene Headings appear as bold-italic in PDF (Linux)


If your Scene Heading elements are bold but appear as bold-italic when selecting File > Save As PDF, it is likely due to a Linux-related font matching/substitution issue.

Until this issue is properly resolved, you can work around it with a single extra step by using File > Print instead, and printing to a PostScript (.ps) file instead.  You can then use the command-line tool ps2pdf to convert the PostScript file to PDF.
