By design, Fade In Mobile will require you to tap Update To/From... in order to sync with one of the supported cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, Google Drive, etc. This is is the document has been changed on either the device or the cloud storage service.

If the document has been changed on both the device and the cloud storage service, it will be necessary to manually Import or Export to overwrite one of the copies.

All of this is designed and intended to prevent inadvertently overwriting a working copy due to any sort of problem on mobile.
